Plastic Type CP tweezers are made from PEEK polyetheretherketone reinforced with carbon fibre. The material is very hard and rigid and has a high tensile and flexural strength. Typical applications of this tweezer include handling of components in cleaning, chemical, and assembly processes. They can also be used at high temperatures for applications such as soldering. The PEEK material offers a high heat capability (260-300°C), good dimension stability, and a low thermal linear expansion coefficient.
